How this works, so nothing is a surprise.

Booking and cancelling

Appointments can be booked online or by phone. Booking online takes no payment and requires no card. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a session. Inside that window there is still no automatic charge — I would rather you told me late than not at all — but repeated no-shows may mean I ask for a deposit in future.

Online booking opens 30 days ahead and needs at least 12 hours' notice. For anything sooner than that, call (859) 202-5287 — I can often fit people in.

Payment

Payment is due at the end of the session, by cash or card. Prices on this site are current; if they change, the price quoted when you booked is the price you pay. Tipping is never expected. Gift certificates do not expire.

Lateness

If you are running late, call and tell me — it is not a problem. Your session will usually still end at the booked time so the next client is not pushed back, and the full price applies. If nobody is booked after you, you get your full time.

Draping and conduct

You are covered by a sheet for the entire session, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. You may stop the session at any point, for any reason, and you will not be charged for time not used.

This is a professional therapeutic practice. Any request or behaviour of a sexual nature ends the session immediately, the full fee is due, and you will not be seen again. That policy is absolute and is stated here so nobody has to wonder.

Scope of practice

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis or a promise of a particular outcome. I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment, and where something falls outside what massage can help, I will tell you and suggest who to see.

Please tell me about medical conditions, medications and recent injuries before we start. Some conditions mean adjusting the work, and some mean waiting until you have spoken to a doctor.
